Eastman Dental Dispensary, Rochester NY

So I just happened to snap this photo the other day while walking in the city, and thought it might make for a nice little post. This is a picture of one of the wings of the now-vacant Eastman Dental Dispensary, located East Main Street in Rochester.

Originally constructed in 1917, this location was funded by George Eastman (founder of Kodak) as a means for local Rochesterians to receive dental services. When the location of the dispensary moved to the University of Rochester campus, this building was vacated. In 1983 is was listed among the National Register of Historic Places. The structure is sometimes converted into a haunted house around Halloween time.
